No more cold fingers! Use this Jin Shin Jyutsu hold.

It’s cold outside but that doesn’t stop me from going out and getting some fresh air! Not even when my fingers feel frozen – and that’s with gloves on. My fingers don’t feel uncomfortable for long, though, because I know that I can practice some simple Jin Shin Jyutsu self help for cold fingers. I discovered this hold on one of my walks and it worked really quickly, so I hope it does the same for you!

Step-by-Step: Warm Your Fingers and Hands with Jin Shin Jyutsu

I do love being out in cold weather – it’s invigorating – but of course, I want to be comfortable. So when some of my body parts get cold, especially my hands and fingers, I employ this simple three step Jin Shin Jyutsu hold as follows:

To begin, place your right hand under your left armpit, tucking it in snugly. If you wish, you can also tuck your thumb in for added warmth and support.

Next, use your left hand to gently fold your four fingers over your left thumb.

Then place your left hand close to your body.

Once your right hand and fingers feel warmer, switch sides: Place your left hand under your right armpit and fold the right hand’s four fingers over the right thumb. Then place the hand close to the body.

You can perform this hold while walking or resting – as long as your hands are free you can do it anywhere, anytime! A great Jin Shin Jyutsu hold for when you’re ON THE GO.

It’s particularly effective even if you’re wearing gloves but still feel the sting of the cold in your fingers.
