Jin Shin Jyutsu quick hold to stay fit and toned
We all need to exercise to a certain extent to maintain health. Sometimes, though, it might not be possible to go out for that walk or go to the gym. For those times, isn’t it wonderful that we can employ this simple Jin Shin Jyutsu hold to keep the body fit and toned, and much more besides.

One simple hold that helps with so much
In this Jin Shin Jyutsu exercise to stay fit and toned we use one Safety Energy Lock, number 25. It is located on the sit bones.
When we work with these two energy sites (one on the left and the other mirror image on the right), we are helping our whole BEING in so many ways.
SEL 25 helps us ‘quietly regenerate’ the whole body. So it takes fatigue out of the body and promotes mental alertness as well as an energetic mind. For instance, I practice this self help hold when I have had a bad night; I haven’t slept and I wake up with that hung over feeling. A few minutes holding the 25s and I feel so much better.
When we employ the 25s in Jin Shin Jyutsu on a regular basis, they can help our body get fit and toned. They can even be a substitute for walking or jogging when necessary!
After exercising or doing any strenuous work, hold both SEL 25s for 20 minutes to prevent or ease sore muscles. The 25s take lactic acid out of the muscles which is responsible for making them sore.
Want to trim down your derrière and buttock area? Then sit on your hands for 20 minutes a day.
Have some unsightly cellulite you want to get rid of? Then practice this Jin Shin Jyutsu exercise to keep fit. With regular practice you will notice a difference.
The Jin Shin Jyutsu exercise: Sit on your hands!
Slide left hand, palm up against the body, onto the left sit bone at SEL 25 and
at the same time, slide the right hand, palm up against the body, on the right sit bone at SEL 25.
Relax the hands and hold.
Make sure to sit on a soft surface to avoid your hands from becoming stressed or tired.
You can do this Jin Shin Jyutsu exercise to stay toned and fit every day, either sitting or lying down. Work your way up to 20 minutes a day (great to practice in front of the TV as well).
