Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help for Anxiety
Anxiety and FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) are a big part of our lives.
Managing our anxieties and fears goes a long way to managing stress in our lives and in our bodies.
A very simple way to manage fear and anxiety is to hold the index finger.
Not only does it calm anxieties and nervousness, but it helps the following:
- Teeth and gums
- Backaches
- Digestion, constipation
- Self criticism, shyness
- Muscle tension
- Kidney and bladder energy
- the stress of standing for many hours
- anything to do with the element of water (colour blue)
I used to know someone who said “My nerves, Astrid, my nerves!” to me a lot.
This was before I knew Jin Shin Jyutsu, so a long long time ago.
If anyone were to say that to me now I would suggest they hold their index finger.
“There is nothing to fear but Fear itself.”
