Jin Shin Jyutsu for Dizziness
Feeling dizzy can be unsettling and disorienting. Luckily, there’s a simple Jin Shin Jyutsu self-help exercise that can relieve dizziness and bring a sense of calm.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a universal art of harmonising that works with energy pathways in the body, and in this exercise, we’ll focus on some key energy sites known as Safety Energy Locks to restore balance and ease.

About Safety Energy Locks
Safety Energy Locks are located on specific areas on the body as spheres of concentrated energy. There are 26 of these locations on the left side and 26 mirror images on the right side of the body.
Our hands, when placed on these Safety Energy Locks, act as ‘jumper cables’ to recharge them when they are run down. When they are recharged, they can harmonise the body’s energy and relieve discomfort.
Each Safety Energy Lock also has a name, meaning, and function. This system of Safety Energy Locks is unique to Jin Shin Jyutsu.
Safety Energy Lock 21
For the purposes of this exercise, we’ll be using a few Safety Energy Locks while focusing on Safety Energy Lock 21, which is located at the base of the cheekbone. This Safety Energy Lock in Jin Shin Jyutsu is very helpful to ease dizziness.
Mary Burmeister says: “21 came into the universe meaning Profound Security and Escape from Mental Bondage”, making it ideal for calming the mind and relieving symptoms caused by mental stress or overwhelm.
